Recruiting
Proper recruiting is paramount to creating a great team that works together for the greater good of the company. Most professionals believe they are good at hiring the right person for the job. One vital concern with any given company is when there is no process to measure whether or not past recruiting was actually successful. For most hiring managers, the percentage of success with outside hires is akin to trying to win the slot machine at a casino. Without a proven recruiting process, the likelihood of hiring top industry talent, that advances the performance curve of a company, is very low.
Hiring the wrong person for the job is always costly and sets the team and company objectives in a negative direction. Most experts say the cost of a wrong hire is anywhere from 6x to 15x the annual salary. In other words, the wrong hire increases overhead and negatively adjusts the bottom line.

- 80% were disappointed with their external hire.
